Hampstead Heath

It is the memory etched from this photo, rather than the photo itself that provides a sense of beauty and nostalgia in which i constantly remind myself of. I took this photo in 2009 in London's Hampstead Heath. The air was crisp and there were small patches of snow dispersed within the bed of autumn leaves. My best friend and I got lost in the Heath for hours, just as it was getting dark, yet it felt so invigorating. I had come to one of the largest  largest urban jungles in the world, yet my immediate surroundings suggested i was 'nowhere'. Sometimes nature alone beats the presence of even the most magnificent buildings.
